ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

MANDATE
The PCTIA mandate is to provide consumer protection
to students attending private post-secondary education
institutions in British Columbia. This is accomplished by
requiring the registration of such institutions and by providing
a voluntary accreditation program to registered institutions to
ensure that standards of integrity and educational competence
are met and maintained.

• To implement and supervise with fairness and equity registration
  and accreditation
